Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Open the door and go straight forward past a depression with some chaingunners—you will see a wall open ahead and release two imps (or one or two cacodemons on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher). Open the door next to this wall to face two more chaingunners, then open a second door to enter a hall with a large staircase which is guarded by a pain elemental. Kill the chaingunners opposite the staircase then go up the stairs and follow the ledge west until you reach a silver left next to two clips. Ride the lift up and follow the path down some steps, then kill one or two revenants at the bottom of the steps who are guarding a button. The button will raise a platform behind you that you can step across to reach the pillar with the red keycard—watch out for the arachnotrons in the pit below, and the zombies that are released when you step on the platform.
From the red key, step north-east to reach the pillar with the plasma gun then flip the switch on the platform you just raised to raise a staircase. Open the red door at the top of the stairs and go straight forward to another door, then go through it and kill the enemies in the dark cages on either side. Press the switch in the north-east corner to illuminate a button in one of the cages, shoot it to open the next door then go through and look left (east) to see a mancubus. Kill the mancubus then go down the steps next to it and walk forward until the wall to your right opens to reveal demons. Continue following the hallway east and north to enter a room with a megaarmor and the blue keycard (the door will seal behind you), then kill the zombies and imps hiding behind the west wall as well as any chaingunners that teleport in. Once the room is clear, flip the switch on the west wall to reopen the door so you can leave.
Go back to the bottom of the steps and press the button next to them to lower a lift, then open the blue door behind the lift to enter a crate room. Kill the waiting zombies and arachnotron, flip the switch in the south-west corner of the room then go through the door at the north end to see a pair of burning barrels ahead that mark a crusher trap. Kill the chaingunners waiting in the yard ahead then continue north through another door to enter a room with a brown column; there are two platforms in this room with yellow keycards, but they will close off every time you approach them. Approach the nukage on the west side of the room to close the column on that side, then flip the switch on the west side of the column to open the surrounding walls and reveal chaingunners, bazooka men and a pain elemental (plus a mancubus on HMP or higher). Flip a second switch on the west wall to reopen the column so you can collect the key underneath it.
Open the yellow door in the north-east corner of the room and kill some waiting imps, then climb the steps and look left at the top to see a teleporter guarded by zombies. Enter the teleporter to return to the large staircase room, then go behind the stairs to find a set of yellow bars and open them to get back outside. Go through the doorways on the north and west sides to find some bazooka men and revenants guarding a switch, then approach it to lower the wall ahead and reveal a group of demons and an arch-vile guarding the real exit switch.

- In the large staircase room, go to the top of the stairs to open a chamber with imps and a supercharge. You can reach the chamber from here by running off the ledge at the correct speed and angle, then follow the passage up some steps, which will trigger the secret, to get a box of shotgun shells and a medikit. (sector 57) Alternatively, after opening the chamber you can go back down the stairs and open the door on the east side of the room, then press the north wall in the next room to lower the lift with the medikit.
- In the crate room, go to the crate by the middle of the east wall and press its north side to lower it. Get on top of the crate then run north-west to reach the crate with the armor. (sector 211)
- Also in the crate room, open the recessed wall in the middle of the west wall to find a computer area map, a stimpack, a rocket, and a chainsaw. (sector 315)
Non-official[edit]
- Press the angled wall at the bottom of the steps leading to the exit switch to get a medikit, a box of bullets, shotgun shells, and an energy cell pack.
Bugs[edit]
If the southwest door (sector 199) is open while the lift behind it is rising, the player can run from the rising lift through the door and onto a crate to the west. If the player then falls into the space between crates (where barrel thing 85 is), they will be stuck.
On the medium and harder difficulty settings, two demons (things 130 and 129) are stuck in each other next to the exit switch.
