MAP08: Tomes & Triggers is the eighth map of 512 Linedefs of /vr/. It was designed by Desert Yeti and uses the music track "Return of the Troubles" by Jeremy Doyle, from TNT: Evilution MIDI Pack.

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the east side, go to the triangular block with the red torch and press the switch on the east side. Head northwest to the lowering wall to get a box of shotgun shells, a box of ammo, a stimpack, and a green armor. (sector 33)
  2. At the blue key, carefully go to the southwest corner and find a button on the bookshelf. Lower the bookshelf with the button and go east to get rockets, boxes of shotgun shells, a box of ammo, a health bonus, and medikits. (sector 64)
  3. After you get the red key, return to where the blue key was and fall into the hole. Head west to a box of rockets, a box of shotgun shells, a green armor, a stimpack, and an invulnerability. (sector 74)
  4. After you get the red key, head back to the southeast end and take the south path leading to a box of ammo, a box of rockets, an energy cell, armor bonuses, and medikits. (sector 108)

Bugs[edit]

An armor (Thing 272) in the north has no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so it does not actually appear in the level.
