MAP09: Core Annihilation is the ninth map of Slaughterfest 2012. It was designed by Matt Powell (cannonball) and uses as music track a MIDI rendition of "Sigma Stage 1" from Mega Man X.

Secrets[edit]
- In each of the four corner areas, step on the square that has a rocket launcher and medikits. After you step on all four, head to the north side of the main hallway and near the northwest corner is an open room with a megasphere, energy cell packs, and medikits (the medikits will not be there on Ultra-Violence or higher). (sector 396)
- At the northeast corner, you will see two terminals on the south wall. Use the one on the right to find a teleporter. Follow the trail of ammo to an invulnerability (megasphere on Ultra-Violence or higher). (sector 590)
