MAP09: E2M1: Arcology is the ninth map of The Magenta Spire. It was designed by Cole Bryden (thelamp) and uses the music track "Ripsnort," originally composed by Jeremy Doyle for Icarus: Alien Vanguard.

Walkthrough

Map of E2M1: Arcology

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. After raising the steps in the central area, climb up and go to the east or west sides. Jump north to the plants to get armor bonuses, medikits, and a megaarmor (green armor on Ultra-Violet or higher). (sector 179)
2. Open the walls up in the blue key room and go through a wall to the north to head outside. Head east through the plants to find a cursed BFG9000. (sector 318)
