MAP09: Hobb's End Horror is the ninth map of Hellcore 2.0. It was designed by Devon West (Darkfyre) and uses the music track "Day's End," by Simon Judd.

Hobb's End Horror was featured in Doomworld's Top 100 Most Memorable Maps, placing 68th.

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the far northeast end of the map is a hotel. Climb the steps to the top floor of this hotel and go until you reach the dropoff where you can collect the red key. Before falling in, look east to the bookshelf. You will notice the number 13 above the bookshelf, as well as a book jutting out. Push this book back in and go back into the hallway to the room marked with the number 13. You can find a soul sphere inside this room. (sector 968)
  2. After getting the red key, along the western street, go towards the outhouse on the western side. Notice the lighter patch of dirt leading to the street, to the outhouse, and towards a hedge. You can walk through the hedge at the point where the dirt reaches it. Through here, you can find another soul sphere and energy cell packs. (sector 1257)
