MAP09: Mining Ops is the ninth map of Atonement. It was designed by Matthew DeCalzadilla (Moustachio) and uses the music track "Come On In" by Dial-up for Murder.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Get the blue key and the south wall will lower. Go back up and jump here to get a rocket and health bonuses. Take the teleporter to get ammo, more health bonuses, a medikit, and a soul sphere. (sector 146)
  2. In the central nukage area, head to the teleporter at the south end and you will teleport on top of a crate. Head north and go to the lowered crate, then west to the blue door and north to another lowered crate, then west after that crate. After stepping on that crate, head north to get a BFG9000, medikits, energy cell packs, and an armor bonus. (sector 290)

Bugs[edit]

Two heavy weapon dudes (Things 93 and 95) in the northern monster cache have no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so they do not actually appear in the level.
