MAP09: Skyopolis is the ninth map of Earthless: Prelude. It was designed by James Paddock (Jimmy) and uses the music track "Into Sandy's City" by Robert Prince. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 1:30.

Walkthrough

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. When you reach the part of the outdoor area with the arrow on the ground, go up some crates behind it and grab the box of rockets then press on the gray crate to the right of it to lower it and reveal a backpack. (sector 17)
2. Near a flaming barrel in the northeast part of the map is a health bonus. Press on the wall behind the health bonus to reveal a teleporter, the landing area tags the secret. (sector 6)
3. From secret #2 turn around and slowly walk off. You should land on a platform with the plasma gun and two energy cells. (sector 39)
4. Go through the building with blue lights and up its lift. Continue around the bend and run onto the other side with the switch and candle. Press on the wall behind the candle like it were a switch, then jump down to the left and run around the building to get the BFG9000 (on Ultra-Violence and above) or megasphere (on lower skills) from the timed lift. (sector 238)
5. Before the red switch, go left from facing it to another branch of the upper area, a switch will raise up. Press it then backtrack and jump off to the left of the second overpass and you will land on the area with the soulsphere, an energy cell and a box of rockets. (sector 150)
6. In the red door area, go up the stairs and around and past the door towards the outside balcony. Press on the wall behind the shells and energy cell to lower it. Then jump down onto the chaingunner platform to get the energy cell pack. (sector 56)
