MAP10: Daemon's Sanctuary is the third map of Eternal Doom IV. It was designed by Rex Claussen.

Walkthrough

Map of Daemon's Sanctuary

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. Enter the courtyard near the exit to The Crypt. Go towards the central fountain and take note of the megaarmor on a pillar. Swim down at the fountain and head south, then left. When you resurface, pick up the box of shotgun shells and you will be directed to find the other ammo cache, which is on the right side. Pick up the box of rockets there, and you will get the message that the pillar on the island has been lowered. Return to the central fountain to retrieve the megaarmor. (sector 197)
2. In the dark cavern with the lava river, get to the southeast end and spot a blue switch on the west wall. Press it, then quickly run all the way west and southwest to a lowered wall. Ride this wall up to get a radiation suit. (sector 263)
3. Go left on the aforementioned lava river and north. In this room, go to the northeast corner and swim down through the lava. At the end of this path is a soul sphere. (sector 282)
4. In the southwest room with crates, head east into the larger room, then to the northwest room. In this small room, get to the northeast corner and you will trigger a lift. Quickly head to the southwest corner of this room, which leads back into the room from before, but stay on the spot where it will rise. It will lower again since you are on it, but take note that another wall to the southwest is tied to this same wall. When the wall you are on lowers again, run southwest through the other wall into a secret room to get boxes of ammo, a medikit, and a soul sphere. (sector 1180)
5. In the westernmost room with the bookshelves, head north past the dining hall and follow the carpet. When it bends south, look at the west wall and use the mural that is different. This will open a secret wall to the south. Follow that wall to the end to get partial invisibility. (sector 1312)
6. Get all the way to the northernmost end of the church at the north end of the map, then enter the side room to the left. Open the northeast wall to find a teleporter that takes you to a box of shotgun shells. (sector 1966)
7. In the small room with the tall, white obelisk, get to the north wall and use the right mural to find a light amplification visor. (sector 2248)
8. At the waterway at the south end of the map, head southwest into the cave and press on the wall in the northwest corner to find a teleporter. Enter it and swim down to get a green armor and a medikit. (sector 2363)
