Secrets[edit]
- In the yellow key room, there is a portrait on the west wall that you need to enter. To do so, use the east bookshelf and the switch behind it. Head to the area west of the yellow key room where there are now three switches on the west side of the counter. Use the leftmost switch and return to the yellow key room. Several pillars have risen. Use the skull switch on the northeast table to lower the yellow key pillar, then traverse the pillars towards the portrait, with the pillars lowering while you cross. Ride up again and jump through the portrait to get a megacharge and a switch. (sector 50)
- To get this secret, free the phantom dog and have it follow you to the room to the south. Open the door, and lure it to the lift. At the top, use the terminal to the southwest to raise a large wall. The remote next to that wall is what is supposed to be stepped on by the phantom dog, which lowers a lift to the west (behind the glass) for five seconds. While the dog is around this area, go to this lift, wait for the dog to lower the lift, and ride it up. Head to the south side and jump east to get energy cell packs. (sector 89)
- To get the cursed BFG9000, you need to press five switches in this map. One switch is in Secret #1. Another switch is north of the mansion, on the left side of the bush that you can go through. Another is south of the entrance to the steps leading to the yellow key area. Another is on the back side of the table in the yellow key area (northeast side). The last switch is at the southeast end of the mansion, behind the southwest rubble west of the blinking rubble. After using these five switches, climb the rubble to the southeast ledge and follow it all the way north and around. From there, you can jump to the cursed BFG9000 and the boxes of rockets. (sector 100)
