Take the shotgun under your feet and use it to kill the zombiemen, then follow the corridor north and east, passing some imps and chaingunners, until you get to the north-east room. Clear out the waiting imps and shotgun guys (or chaingunners on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare skill levels) using the super shotgun at the bottom of the steps, then climb up to the south ledge with demons to find a red button. Pressing the button lowers the pole at the bottom of the steps holding the red skull key, but will also cause several imps and one or two Hell knights to teleport in.
With the red key, climb back up to the south ledge and open the red bars to enter a room with an armor being guarded by some imps and a cacodemon, then follow the path south and east to find the blue keycard in a dead end; there are several imps waiting on platforms to the south, and more will teleport in when you pick up the key. Go back to the starting hallway and flip the switch on the west wall, along with a second switch behind it, to lower the blue bars behind you, then go down the steps to a water pool and be ready to kill some imps and revenants that are released. Flip the switch on the east wall, kill the imps and demons that teleport in then go to the south-west corner to press the exit button that has opened.
Other points of interest
- When you enter the north-east room, stand at the top of the steps and look at the north-east wall to see that it has a lot more horizontal stripes compared to the other walls in this room. Open that wall to reveal a closet containing a backpack and a megaarmor, guarded by a baron of Hell. (sector 158)
