Essentials[edit]
Other points of interest[edit]
Secrets[edit]
- Just behind the player's starting point, there is a switch that opens up the outdoors area with the pumps to the south. Behind the southernmost pump is a secret megasphere. (thing 151)
- Go north and up the lift, and you'll now be in a much more demonic looking area. There is a door to the right, behind two boxes of rockets: open it to find three more rockets and two boxes of bullets. Further approach the invulnerability sphere behind bars in order to unlock one of two set of bars needed to obtain it. (sector 486)
- Back on the main path, open the door and proceed further and you will get into an area full of computers. Before proceeding further, press the computer right in front of you to reveal a megaarmor. (sector 439)
- After getting past the computer maze, go to the right and past the Hell knights, and you will see a different looking wall to the south. Press it to enter a new area, containing a red switch, and you can also net a backpack, five more rockets, a medikit, and be able to approach the invulnerability from earlier to pick it up, while also lowering the rest of the bars in the level. (sector 465)
- Now that all sets of bars have lowered, go to the left path from where the invulnerability is to access a few new rooms. Here you will find two barons of Hell, four stimpacks, and a teleporter that takes you to the northeast of the map, where you can find more supplies, monsters, and a switch that opens up new areas. (sector 643)
- Once you enter the blood-filled tunnels, on the left tunnel go west and into the duct filled with lost souls, and use the rocket launcher to destroy the pump in front of you. You will enter another room with zombies and an arachnotron, and more pumps that you can destroy. Upon destroying them, if you fall off the left corridor, you'll drop onto a soulsphere. (thing 297)
- Backtrack to the same area as before and drop off the right corridor for a partial invisibility sphere. (thing 296)
Bugs[edit]
Two rockets (Things 479 and 480) have no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so they do not actually appear in the level.
