MAP11: Astral Sanctuary is the eleventh map of What Lies Beneath. It was designed by Peter Blacha (Shawny) and uses the music track "Unknown Realm" by Maxime Tondreau (Psychedelic Eyeball).

Secrets[edit]
- In the area east of the south hub, after using the two demonic switches to the north and south, two bookshelves on the west wall will open. Enter the south one and find a green button on the back shelf. Use it to open a rocket launcher. (sector 547)
- In the southwest hall, get on top of the north bookshelf and follow the armor bonuses west. Get on more shelves which have candles and head west and south. Go to the lion face and open it to get a megaarmor. (sector 3775)
- In the east area, go to the northwest side and find the switch there. After using it, three alcoves to the west will open up. Go to the southernmost of these alcoves and press the skull switch. This reveals a rocket launcher to the south. (sector 4690)
- In the southwest area, head to the southernmost red carpet and find a column near the left side with lighter bricks. Open these bricks to find a switch. After using it, get on the bridge in the middle of the southwest area, cross to the northeast, and follow the ledge east all the way to a rocket launcher. (sector 7029)
