MAP11: Countdown is the eleventh map of Anomaly Report. It was designed by Michael Jan Krizik (valkiriforce) and uses the music track "Ghost In The Machine," originally composed by David Shaw (Tolwyn) for Icarus: Alien Vanguard. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 1:30.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Go to the building ahead and open the door to find a chaingun, take it to release two demons (or cacodemons on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher), then go up the steps on the east and west sides of the room to reach two switches that will open the northern doors. Go through the doors and head north through the valley to a tunnel, then climb up the steps on the other side to find an entrance to a vent. Follow the vent until you drop into a water pool with a couple of cacodemons, then go to the south-east corner of the pool to find a switch that will open the bars to the north. Go through the bars to get outside and find a group of imps waiting around a sludge pit, then go around the pit to a staircase at the north end and go down it to reach a lift. Ride the lift down and go outside, where a Hell knight will be waiting on HMP or higher, then go east to enter the main building. As you enter the building a set of bars will close in front of you, and the north wall will open to reveal imps and zombies (plus spectres on HMP or higher) along with a switch.
Flip the switch to open the bars, but do not go through them yet—instead, go through the south door and follow the path to a lift, then ride it up to enter the room with the red keycard. Taking the key will open the low walls on either side of it and allow some imps, zombies and demons to teleport in; you can then walk under the low ceiling on the west side to reveal a switch that will lower the entrance lift again. Go back to the bars you opened earlier and pass through them, then climb the steps to your right to enter a large room with the yellow keycard in the center. Climb the stairs on the east side of the room to reach a junction, go east down some steps then north up another set of steps to find a demon (or revenant on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare) guarding a red door. Go through the door and follow the walkway round to a room with two teleporters, then enter the northern teleporter to go to the nearby tower and press all four satyr switches inside it to clear the path to the blue keycard. Drop to the floor below and enter the teleporter that has lowered nearby to return to the previous room, then enter the southern teleporter to go to a balcony outside. Run south down the stepped platforms to reach the blue key, and be ready to kill some demons (and chaingunners on HMP or higher) that are released behind it.
Leave the blue key room by the southern exit and climb up the gray steps to return to the nukage junction, then go south into a hallway and enter the alcove to your left to activate a lift. Cross the bridge here to find a blue bar and open it to reach a switch, which will lower the pillar holding the yellow key, then kill the cacodemons that teleport in before entering the nukage pool in the center of the room to collect the key. Go down the steps in the south-west corner of the room to find a knight guarding another teleporter, which goes to the platform west of the yellow key pillar, then flip the switch ahead to reach another teleporter which will send you back to the northern room. Kill the knight that has been released from an alcove in the north wall then flip the switch next to it to open the large door nearby, revealing a switch guarded by another knight (and two revenants on UV and NM). Flip the final switch to blow up the rocket in front of you and end the level.

Secrets[edit]
- In the red key room, walk under the low ceiling on the east side to open the south-east switch. Flip it and go to the north-west teleporter to get a supercharge. (sector 271)
- At the east end between the curved steps, use the grayish wall at the south-west end to get shotgun shells and a super shotgun. (sector 327)
- In the round rooms at the east end, go to the north one and lower the north wall to get energy cells. (sector 430)

Routes and tricks[edit]
From the platform leading to the yellow switch, if you line it up just right, you can strafe-run to the pillar with the yellow key. You can then return to the yellow switch platform, open the door, and continue though the exit sequence, bypassing the red and blue keys entirely.
