Essentials[edit]

Head straight forward and open the large door in front of you to find a blood fountain with a super shotgun, guarded by imps and shotgun guys. Open the east door to find three stepped lifts that will lower as you step on them - ride the lifts up to another door guarded by a Hell knight then go through the door to enter a marble hall with a curved red structure. Kill the shotgun guys, imps and spectres on guard then head around the back of the structure to find two more shotgun guys guarding a skull switch; the switch will lower the gray bars at the front of the structure, allowing you to reach a chaingun and teleporter guarded by knights (and two revenants on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher). Step on the teleporter to reach a structure near the starting point, then take the red skull key in front of you.

Kill or avoid the cacodemons and lost souls that are released into the area, then go back to the blood fountain room and approach the lift on the west wall, which will lower automatically on approach. When you step off the lift the walls on either side will lower to reveal imps (and two revenants on HMP); kill them then head through the red key door to the west and climb the steps to a satyr switch, which will open four walls and reveal two barons of Hell (plus four demons on HMP or higher). Step through either of the south walls to find a skull switch between two red firesticks, which will lower a pillar in the main room holding the blue skull key. Taking the key will open the west wall to reveal a skull switch guarded by imps, shotgun guys and chaingunners; press this switch before returning to the blood fountain room.

Back in the blood fountain room you will see that the bookcases either side of the north door have lowered, revealing a revenant behind the west bookcase and a lift behind the east bookcase. Ride the lift up (it will lower as you approach) then go round the corner, ready for an ambush by chaingunners and lost souls, and press either skull switch at the end of the passage to find the yellow skull key. Drop down to ground level and open all three locked doors in the north wall to find the exit teleporter being guarded by two barons.

Other points of interest[edit]

Carefully drop off the wall holding the red key to land on a ledge with a supercharge, two clips and two piles of shotgun shells. Taking the red key will lower a waterfall to the north-west and reveal two lost souls, along with a partial invisibility.

An armor is hidden behind the satyr switch revealed after taking the blue key.
