MAP12: Water Temple is the twelfth map of Anomaly Report. It was designed by Michael Jan Krizik (valkiriforce) and uses the music track "Gerbert," originally composed Mark Klem for Memento Mori. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 1:05.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

You start at the north end of the temple. Kill the zombies around you then leave the starting room and enter the corridor at the south-west end, which will bring you to a skull switch next to a set of red bars. Go to the staircase at the south end of the hall and follow it down to a step with demons and shotgun guys, then enter the water pool ahead to collect the red skull key.

Deal with the imps, shotgun guys, demons (and chaingunners on Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher) that appear near the staircase, then go back to the red bars you passed earlier and press the skull switch to open them. Go through and kill any waiting imps and zombies, press the skull switch on the east wall to raise a bridge, then cross the bridge and follow the platforms up to an opening in the north-west corner of the room. Go through the opening, which will release imps and demons (or shotgun guys on HMP or higher) into the hall below, then follow the red carpet round to the blue skull key.

Go back into the corridor connecting the northern and central sections of the temple, then go to the blue bars inside it and use the nearby switch to open them. Go outside and follow the path past some demons and imps to the exit door, then open it to find the exit switch and a couple of stimpacks.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Open the wall behind the start for shotgun shells. (sector 98)
  2. On the staircase with the red torch, lower the west wall and head there to get a box of rockets, a rocket launcher, and a computer area map. (sector 102)
  3. Take the teleporter in the lava in secret #2 to get a megaarmor. (sector 109)
  4. Lower the north wall at the blue key to get a berserk pack. (sector 100)
