MAP12 is the second map of Return to Purgatory. It was designed by James Wilson (Shade) and uses the music track "Mist" by Kevin Schilder, from Heretic.

Walkthrough[edit]

Secrets[edit]
- In the brown room with barrels, one barrel will be destroyed by a crusher that sets off the chain reaction to the other ones. Go to the crusher and through the wall behind it. Follow the zigzag path to get a plasma gun, medikits, and an energy cell. (sector 148)
- A small courtyard near the west end has two pillars, one of which has a soul sphere on top. Use the demon face north of the pillar and ride that wall up in order to get the soul sphere. (sector 181)
- In the curvy hall at the east side, go to the middle and drop out of the east window to get a megasphere. (sector 320)
- In the white hall at the west end, find an arrow at the north end and open the wall it points to to get a medikit, a computer area map, and a megaarmor. (sector 404)
- In the southeast room with the bridge over blood, going off the bridge to the sides will lower the side walls. The east side has a compartment with a berserk pack. (sector 412)
- The west side has a compartment with a chainsaw. (sector 413)
