MAP13: Amok is the thirteenth map of Revolution!. It was designed by Thomas van der Velden (t.v.). When played with the Revolution! MIDI Pack, this level uses the music track "Haze," composed by Tristan Clark.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
(The following walkthrough was played on Ultra-Violence difficulty and for 100% in all three categories as noted.)
This is a short map. Start by jumping northwest from the teleporter platform you are on through a false wall to get a berserk pack (secret 1). This is the map's only secret. Gather the rockets behind the teleporter platform, the shotgun, the box of shotgun shells, and the chainsaw, which are all in front of you. Head west into the next area.
There will be a building due west. Each side has a chaingunner that can fire at you from behind barred windows. Either snipe them from a distance with your pistol, or quickly run toward the building to take them out quickly with the shotgun to avoid taking damage (there are zombiemen behind these windows as well that are less of a threat). There will also be shotgunners and zombiemen in the area. A cacodemon will emerge from a cave to the south as you pass. There is a small cemetery to the north, and zombiemen and shotgunners will rise from graves by headstones as you enter. The cemetery also contains the super shotgun and another box of shells. Everything in this side of the map can be neutralized fairly quickly thanks to both shotguns and a generous amount of shells. Go down to where that first cacodemon emerged to get the rocket launcher.
You will cross a small bridge over a river to get to the building. Another cacodemon will emerge from a cage to the north if it has not already. Inside the building will be the aforementioned enemies, plus shotgunners not easily visible from the outside, and an arachnotron. Dispose of them, grab the megaarmor, box of bullets, and the fallen chainguns. There will be more shells in the next area. Take the western door with the lion head.
Immediately opposite the door will be a chaingunner, another box of shells, and a box of rockets. Two cacodemons will float at you from the north. To the south will be two Hell knights on another walkway. With the ammo available to you, taking all these out at a distance should not be a problem. More rockets will be available later if you wish to wait. Take the path west and north to a cave.
Head east down the hallway. Part way in bars will close around you and four spectres will emerge from monster closets. Put your berserk fist or chainsaw to good use here. Flip the switch in one of the closets to raise the bars and continue east. Drop down into the river. Several demons will attack you from the north. There is another box of shells in the area they were in as well as a medikit. You will see dual passages to the west with a cacodemon at the end of each. You should have plenty of shells to dispatch them. The left-hand passage leads to an area with two arachnotrons and the red key. The right-hand leads to the same area, except divided from the arachnotrons by a partition. Around the corner in the right-hand area is a Hell knight as well as a lion switch you can press for partial invisibility. Do not forget the lone armor bonus on this side. Once you have the red key, this lion switch doubles as a lift to bring you back up.
Head west back to the hallway where you encountered the spectres. There is a skull switch that opens a red banner door. Be careful around this corner. There will be six chaingunners on platforms that raise and lower in set patterns. On the ground will be an arachnotron, and monster infighting will break out as soon as the chaingunners start firing. Once they are handled, go south and gather the six armor bonuses. You will now be at 100% items. There will also be a full eight boxes of rockets. Go back to the chaingunner area, take their weapons, the ride one of their platforms up to the teleporter. This will take you to the side where the two Hell knights were as well as the yellow key and more shells.
Jump down into the water, kill the chaingunner to the east. Head into that cave, flip the switch, then head south and east. You will now be back outside the building you first encountered. Head east to the door marked EXIT. This is the yellow door and the bars in front of it are lowered with the skull switch to its right. Be prepared, because when you open the door a full 12 revenants will attack you. The multiple boxes of rockets you got should make eliminating them easy enough. However, be aware that you will be fighting two arch-viles momentarily, so be mindful of your ammo.
The area the revenants were in will have Hell knights perched on each side of the door when you enter. More rockets and shells are in this area too. In the center of this area will be teleporter pads blocked by columns. Pressing the skull switch on the other side of the teleporters will release two arch-viles. Once they are dead, you will be at 100% kills. The closet to the south where one of the arch-viles emerged will have another skull switch. Pressing it will lower the northwest Hell knight platform and reveal another skull switch, which will lower the other Hell knight platform revealing another switch. This final switch will lower the barriers to the teleporter pads, allowing you to exit the map.
