Essentials[edit]

Take the shotgun to your left if you need it, then follow the water east and south to a room guarded by three demons on I'm Too Young To Die (ITYTD) and Hey Not Too Rough (HNTR) skill levels, or a mancubus on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) or higher. Enter the room and press the skull switch on the west wall, which will lower a wall outside and reveal one or two more demons, then step past this wall and continue following the water south until you drop into a pit. Kill the enemies that teleport here (imps and demons on ITYTD and HNTR, revenants on HMP, or revenants and demons on Ultra-Violence (UV) and Nightmare (NM)) then press the skull switch behind the rocket launcher in the south-east corner; after doing so, kill one or two cacodemons that appear before pressing a second switch on the south wall to open a nearby teleporter leading back to the starting point. Follow the water east until you see two sets of steps on your left, then go up the west steps to find a Hell knight guarding the blue skull key.

With the blue key, head east up the other set of steps and follow the ledge east to a blue key door; open it and drop down to the red skull key, then drop back into the pit where one or two revenants will teleport in. Kill them then press the skull switch on the south wall again to re-open the teleporter leading back to the start; after entering it, turn right then pass through the red key door on your right and follow the path behind it to two red skull bars that will lower as you approach. Kill two shotgun guys and/or chaingunners that appear above you then turn left and follow the water until you drop down one floor, then press the skull switch here to lower a pole with the yellow skull key.

Drop down into the pit and enter the teleporter leading back to the start, then go back into the center room and open the yellow key door here to find a revenant guarding a megaarmor as well as a skull switch that will lower the yellow bars next to it. Step past these bars and enter the teleporter at the top, then press the skull switch in front of you to lower the exit teleporter on your right; on HMP or higher, an arch-vile will appear there so kill it quickly. Fight your way back to the pit and press the switch on the south wall to open the teleporter again; after using it to return to the start, walk round to the exit teleporter.

Other points of interest[edit]

The super shotgun in this map is placed in different locations depending on skill level. On ITYTD and HNTR it is placed by the north entrance to the center room, on HMP it is placed in the north-east corner of the water trench, and on UV and NM it is placed behind the blue key door.

Secrets[edit]

  1. The sector around the exit is a secret. (sector 136)
