MAP13: Deep Abyss is the thirteenth map of Community Chest 64. It was designed by thexgiddoomerx. This level is made out of a series of gore-filled rooms floating in a black void.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
You start in a small, dark room. Around you will be a large variety of weapons, ammunition, and other resources. Pick up everything, and then jump into the pit in front of you. You will find yourself in a series of rooms filled with monsters and gore. Kill the imps and the Hell knight, then head outside. Follow the corridor going through the void and kill the monsters present. At the end is a small room containing two barons of Hell. Kill them, grab the rocket launcher, and press the switch. Now return to the starting area. Enter the narrow passage to the right of the blue bars, then turn right and kill the two Hell knights. Now head through the passage to the left: a group of lost souls will spawn in front of you. Kill the monsters present, then go up the stairs to another room, which contains two more barons of Hell.
Enter the room up ahead, and it will fill with a large number of monsters, including imps, barons of Hell, and a mancubus. Kill everything in this room, then run in between the two pillars at the far end of the room. You will warp into a large hall; when you move forward, a large number of monsters will spawn. Kill everything, then pick up the blue skull key that appears at the end of the room. When you pick it up, more monsters will spawn, including a pain elemental. If you reach the two pillars at the other end of the room, you can escape without having to fight them.
The teleporter will have warped you back to the room you came from. More monsters will have spawned throughout this area. Kill them, then go down the stairs, and go all the way forward to find a blue switch where you previously killed two Hell knights. Press it, then head back and turn right into the passage that has opened up. When you attempt to enter, a group of monsters will spawn, including spectres and barons of Hell, which will block your passage. Kill them and then enter the teleporter at the end.
You will warp into a large room: run forward, and a horde of monsters will spawn. Kill them and pick up the yellow skull key. Even more monsters will spawn, including a pain elemental. If you manage to run past this wave of monsters, you can escape without having to fight them. Return through the passage and turn right. Kill the two barons of Hell in the room, then go up the stairs and press the switch. Go back down the stairs, through the passage, then turn right to return to the starting area. Kill the baron of Hell, go up the steps, then grab the megaarmor and press the switch behind it. Now go down the stairs and turn left. Follow the passage to the end and enter the teleporter.
You will warp into a room filled with imps and demons. Pick up the Unmaker in this room, then head outside onto the walkway and kill the monsters there. Pick up the BFG9000 on the walkway, then grab the red skull key, which will make more monsters spawn on the walkway, including two pain elementals. Kill them and return through the teleporter. More barons of Hell will have spawned on this walkway as well. Kill them and return to the starting area, where you will find a pain elemental waiting for you. Once it is dead, press the blue, yellow, and red bars to lower them, then jump into the void to exit the level.
