Secrets[edit]
Official[edit]
- Backpack and super shotgun (linedef 371)
- (linedef 920)
- Berserk (linedef 2125)
Non-official[edit]
- Near the level start, just through the blue key door, there is a confluence of three stairways. There are doors at the ends of the paths from the right-side stairway (west) and the left (east). After turning left up the stairs and opening the door at the end of that pathway, the door opposite at the other end of the area will be opened to reveal a rocket launcher.
Super secret[edit]
Hidden Temple: There is a hidden temple behind a secret door providing a unique experience. It is best to unlock this secret once the level has been cleared of obstacles and enemies. Accessing the temple requires revealing a hidden compartment containing a switch, which is located inside the rocket launcher secret area.
- To gain access to this switch compartment requires access to the red skull key room. Standing on the mezzanine facing toward where the red skull key was found, shoot the demonic icon on the wall to the right. This will reveal the secret compartment containing the first switch.
- Return to the rocket launcher secret area and press the switch in the hidden compartment. Run to the south end of the courtyard (turn right once reaching the back of the courtyard), and a small secret compartment will reveal the second switch. Important note: this door revealing the second switch will stay open for a time but then will close again permanently and cannot be opened again from the first switch, so ensure that your dash to the second switch is successful the first time.
- You can get your bearings inside this second compartment containing the second secret switch and reopen the door from the inside, it just cannot be reopened from the outside.
- Press the second switch and run back to the red skull key room where a secret door will open on the wall opposite where the red skull key was found.
- Enter through the opened doorway into the super secret hidden temple.
- Retrieve the mysterious blue key, shaped like a gold and blue cross, at the other end of the temple.

Speedrunning[edit]
Routes and tricks[edit]
- Accessing the Hidden Temple: The secret door to the temple is not held open for long. In order to make it to the door in time from the switch that opens it, it is important not to bump into anything along the way and to take a break from sprinting while on the lift to the elevated pathways in the courtyard, and also while passing through the two doors immediately following the lift. Then continue sprinting to the yellow key door, through the door, and down the slope. Also, before beginning this speed run, open the door behind you just prior to pressing the switch so that you can begin your speed run without having to reopen it. Even the slightest delay after pressing the switch will result in failure. It is possible to make it to the hidden temple secret doorway given a smooth run with no interruptions or snags.
- Accessing the Second Super Secret Switch: Accessing the second switch that provides access to the super secret hidden temple requires running from the rocket launcher secret area to the end of the courtyard where you fought all those fireball blob monsters. Ensure the door to the secret compartment containing the first switch is held open long enough to ensure you can speed run immediately after pressing the switch without having to reopen that door. Then speed run to the south end of the courtyard.
