Take the chaingun then open the door directly ahead to face two shotgun guys and a mancubus. Enter the lift on the north side of the room and press the skull switch to go down to the floor below, then head north and east past imps and demons to another lift and activate it to confront a chaingunner. Ride the lift up to face a few more imps, then open the door ahead to confront two (depending on skill level) shotgun guys, chaingunners or revenants. The red keycard is on a blood trench at the back of the room, but step away as soon as you grab it as you will activate a crusher trap.
Fight through some spectres and imps to get back to the starting room, then press the button on the east wall to open the door and face some more imps and shotgun guys as well as an overhead revenant. Go down the steps and turn left to kill a waiting Hell knight (or baron of Hell on Ultra-Violence (UV) and Nightmare (NM)), then go into the next room to find chaingunners defending a megaarmor and a skull switch - entering the room causes one or two pain elementals to teleport behind you. Press the switch to open a set of bars in the red key room, kill the zombies that appear behind you then go back to the red key room (passing a mancubus on UV and NM) and collect the berserk pack in the neighboring chamber before opening another set of bars to your left to face one or two chaingunners and revenants. Walk north to a door and open it to confront imps, zombies and cacodemons, then pull the chain switch in the south-east corner to lower the blue keycard in the neighboring room and bring in four more chaingunners.
With the blue key, go back to the room in the south-east corner of the map to find that the blue bars here have opened, then kill the zombies waiting in the room ahead before opening the door in the north-east corner to find some imps guarding a lift. Ride the lift up to face an arachnotron guarding the yellow keycard, pick it up and kill the imps that teleport behind you before opening the south door to find a knight guarding a skull switch. Press the skull switch to teleport back to the north-east corner of the map, then go back to the blue key area and enter the narrow corridor to reach a yellow key door. Open the door and kill any waiting imps and chaingunners, then head south to the exit door (noting an arch-vile that has appeared in the yellow key room) and open the door to find a baron guarding the exit switch.
Other points of interest
After riding the lift near the starting point down, exit the tunnel and turn right to see a super shotgun.
After going down the steps at the south end of the level, open the door on your right to find a plasma gun guarded by two shotgun guys. Taking the weapon causes a revenant to teleport behind you.
There are no official secrets on this map.
The blue keycard is intended to be used to open the blue bars in the south-east corner of the map. However, when you open the door to the blue key area you will cross a walkover line (linedef 1251) that opens the bars automatically, making the blue key redundant. Taking it is still necessary to get 100% kills.
