Secrets[edit]
Official[edit]
- Head towards the east building, then go north to a switch, which raises a pillar to the northwest. Head up to the area above the switch (which leads to secret #5), then jump across the pillar into the structure to the west. From there, jump north and into the hole to find a backpack and energy cells. (sector 196)
- The southeast building has a slide puzzle. You need to match the design on the east wall by using the four switches to solve the puzzle in the center (the solution will miss the lower right square). Each switch you press will move the block in the direction you are facing (so if you are facing east, pressing the west switch, a block that can move east will move east, unless that is not possible). The quickest solution to the puzzle is pressing the switches in the following sequence (where the direction denotes the location of the switch in the room, not the direction the block is moving): west, north, north, west, south, south, east, north, north, east, south, south. After you solved the puzzle, press the switch next to the east wall to lower that wall. The passage past the east wall leads to energy cells, health bonuses, and the red skull key. (sector 553)
- In the center of the map, head to the east steps but run southeast as you do so. You want to land in the garden here that contains a soul sphere. You can also go onto the wall north of the steps and jump south to the garden. (sector 5054)
- At the west side, to enter the building, you must go around the north and south ends of the building to the skull switches. After both are pressed, you can enter. In this puzzle, there are four switches, and several patterns in front of the switches that show which of the nine blocks in the middle will rise up. When one block gets high enough, it will sink. The goal is to sink all nine blocks to the bottom. The quickest solution is pressing the east switch three times, the west switch three times, the south switch twice, and then the north switch four times. After you solved this, the bars to the west open up, leading to the blue skull key. (sector 5125)
- At the northeast end, climb the pillars to the building there, then head east through the wall. In this puzzle are four directional pads and a reset switch in the middle. Your goal is to guide a barrel across a pathway which you can see to the east. Each directional pad will cause the barrel to move in the direction you step on, and it will not stop moving until you step on a different pad. If the barrel falls, you must press the reset switch to try again (you get thirteen other barrels to use aside from the first one). Successfully guide the barrel to the end and the yellow skull key will lower. These three skull keys can then be used to access the secret exit by the south fountain which contains an invulnerability on Annihilate Me and on co-op. On singleplayer, all difficulties except for Annihilate Me will have the secret exit already open, otherwise it will be closed. Follow the instructions below in order to open the actual secret exit. (sector 5203)
Secret exit on Annihilate Me:
In order to open the secret exit on Annihilate Me or on co-op mode, complete the above steps with secrets number 2, 4 and 5. Then when you are at the exit room, across from you the sigil will be purple instead of orange. Carefully guide yourself against the wall, following the torches until you reach said sigil, which will teleport you to the secret exit and open it. In both scenarios exiting this way will be considered a suicide exit, but it can be bypassed if you saved the invulnerability on Annihilate Me and in co-op mode.
Non-official[edit]
- Inside the southwest building with a baron of Hell on a red teleporter, the north side of the doorway has a skull switch on it. Press it, then rush out of the door, continuing north through another doorway and over a lowered barrier (sector 2939) to leap over to a blur sphere (thing 2282).
