MAP14: The Healing Pool is the fourteenth map of 100 Line Massacre. It was designed by Andrik Powell (Arsinikk), who also composed the level's music track, "Sharkbait". The par time is 25 seconds.

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the northeast end is a switch. Press on the backside of this switch on the left side to lower the outer wall, which has energy cells and a megasphere (invulnerability on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). On the outer edge of the outer wall, if you walk into the poison falls, you will be teleported to the 4-pointed star and can potentially telefrag the cyberdemon (sector 10)

Bugs[edit]

On medium difficulty, an energy cell pack (thing 86) will snap up to rest on top of the button at the northeast rim when the spider mastermind-revealing wall has been lowered. This button is tall, so this would have rendered the cells unobtainable, but due to the outer rim wall being able to lower, enabling the thing flickering glitch, the player can stand under the cell pack while the rim wall is in motion to bring the item down.

Design oddities[edit]

In multiplayer on the medium and hard difficulties, lost souls dot the raised rim in the northeast. This rim has too little space, making all of the lost souls stuck in the ceiling. Them being stuck in a ceiling causes the rim to be unable to move until they are all dead. This behavior is a bug in the Doom engine but it was confirmed in the talk page of this article to have been intentionally used.
