Secrets[edit]
- Take the lift up to the right of the red door in the exit area. Follow the path to the right until you find a ledge from which a switch is plainly visible. Shooting it briefly opens a cache behind it with a chaingun. (sector 247)
- Shoot the switch in secret #1 again. This time stay on the ledge and go back to the right, where a platform will have briefly lowered. Go down to find an energy cell pack and six armor bonuses. (sector 238)
- Exit the previous secret and go forward but enter the door on the right instead going to the ledge. Press the switch in here to unlock another area in front of the door, and go in there and down the lift with the nightmare imps. Press the switch in here to make a supercharge spawn in the southern arena room with the large baron of Hell ambush. (thing 407)
- After picking up the rocket launcher in the southern arena room, fight off the baron wave that emerges from the coffins. Once they are dead, enter the second coffin from the right and go up the stairs to find two boxes of rockets and an energy cell pack. (sector 273)
- After clearing secret #4, return to the starting area to see that two platforms have lowered, revealing two more boxes of rockets. (thing 341)
- See secret #5. (thing 342)
- In order to obtain this secret, you must make sure not to press the switch in the top left of the westernmost room, the one after the series of pillars. Go into that room and press one of the four switches in the central pillars, which makes a plasma gun appear. Press another switch for a lift up to it, pick it up, and kill all the shotgunners that spawn. This will unlock large doors revealing lost souls and a series of items. Now, in the area where you fought the shotgunners, picking up certain items will cause walls to spring up and shoot darts. One of these walls, located right before the yellow door, does not shoot anything, and can be quickly pressed before it disappears. This will reveal an invulnerability powerup in one of the rooms that contained the lost souls that opened up earlier. This can only be tried a limited amount of times due to the dart traps springing up only whenever an item is picked up in the room. (thing 439)
