MAP15: MAP31 - Rock N' Roll City is the fifteenth map of Switcheroom 2. It was designed by Ilya Lazarev (joe-ilya) and uses the music track "Space Cadet" by Kyuss. It is based on the layout of MAP31: Wolfenstein

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Leave the starting building to get to a road, then head north past nukage fountain to a parking lot. Go to the wooden bench in the north-west corner and use it to climb up the ruined gray building, then enter the tunnel ahead and follow it past a demon and Hell knight to drop into a room with office cubicles. Go to the south-west end to find a stack of crates and use them to climb through the windows, then enter the yard ahead to trigger an ambush by numerous monsters. Go south to a park containing large trees, then continue south to get back to the road before going east to a second parking lot.

As you enter the lot, a barrier will rise behind you and various monsters will be released, including a cyberdemon from a crate ahead. Once all the monsters are dead, activate the five switches around the lot, including one north of the red door, to lower the red keycard in the center. Take the key and use it to open the locked door, then walk forward until you see the wall ahead lower to reveal spectres and one or two arch-viles. Press the red button behind the monsters to open the elevator, then step into it to end the level and go to MAP16: MAP26 - The Docks.

Secret exit[edit]

To reach the secret exit to MAP31: MAP23 - Wolfenstein's Monster, you will first need to collect the yellow keycard from secret #4. With this key, follow the directions for secrets #11 and #12 to find the secret exit.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Leave the starting building and head south-east to the cacodemon corpse to find ten health bonuses. (sector 287)
  2. At the east end with the barrels, open the door to the east, then use it to run north-west onto the bed that has health and armor bonuses. (sector 278)
  3. Head east from secret #2 and enter the nukage. The two nukagefalls to the south contain rockets. (sector 277)
  4. In the prison area at the east end, go on the east ledge and shoot the button tucked deep in the east wall. This opens the south cell. Enter it and use the wood block to find the yellow key area. (sector 267)
  5. After dealing with the prison section, return to the area with barrels and climb the crates up. Jump to the west window and use it to access the area south of it. Head through the fire wall and open the door to get a berserk pack. (sector 527)
  6. Head north from the nukage fountain and go through the fence to the west side. Open the door and take the lift up to get a box of rockets and a rocket launcher. (sector 298)
  7. From secret #6, jump north to a ledge, then east and open the door to find a room with a megaarmor. (sector 366)
  8. At the north parking lot, go to the north-west bench and jump to the window to the north. Behind the fire wall is a lecture hall with an arch-vile and two backpacks. (sector 370)
  9. In the north-west area with the large hole, lower the north fence and go through, where the wall will go back. The secret room afterwards has ammo and stimpacks. (sector 505)
  10. At the west street, enter the north building and take the lift up. Drop to the south-east to get an energy cell pack. (sector 544)
  11. In the red key area, go to the south door, then move west a bit and face south-east through the window. You should just be able to see a barrel ahead. Shoot the barrel, which kills a Commander Keen and opens the door. (sector 912)
  12. Open the wall south of secret #11 with the yellow key from secret #4 to access the secret exit. (sector 928)
  13. In the hall leading to the secret exit, open a damaged wall to the east to go behind the secret exit where you will find an armor, a supercharge and an energy cell pack. (sector 945)
