MAP15 is the fifteenth map of Kmega1. It was designed by Kurt Kesler (kdoom). This level was originally released standalone as The Base (k_base2.wad) on January 21, 1998. Due to a bug it was reuploaded as The Base fix 1 (kbase_V2.wad) on February 20, 1998.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Go to the northernmost lift in the map, but backtrack to find a new room with a medikit or a megasphere depending on your skill level. (sector 191)
  2. Head south from the north room and use the switch to lower the large lift. Ride up to a room with a megaarmor, a medikit, and a switch to lower the lift. (sector 68)
  3. Take the lift back down and head west to the former human closet of health bonuses. (sector 73)
  4. Open the door to the northwest end to get boxes of ammo. (sector 75)
  5. At the bridge at the southwest end, head north, then into the east area to get a green armor. (sector 193)
  6. At the southwest end of the map, head south of the soul sphere and open the door to get boxes of rockets, a rocket launcher, and a box of shotgun shells (not on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). (sector 172)
