MAP16: Castle of Evil is the sixteenth map of The World of Deth: From Heaven To Hell. It was designed by Morten Strømsvold (The Big One).

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.


Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Enter the castle and go to the south wall. Take the small brick up to it and open it to find two chaingunners. (sector 9)
  2. Head east of Secret #1 and use the last window to enter the damaging floor. Take the teleporter to get this secret. (sector 75)
  3. Open the north wall in Secret #2 and take the teleporter across from you to get a green armor. (sector 111)
  4. In the blue key area, lower the northwest wall to find a shotgun guy and an imp. (sector 177)
  5. Open the blue door, then use the south switch at the end. Open the east wall for an energy cell. (sector 119)
  6. Enter the next room, then head northeast of the candelabra and open the wall here to find a soul sphere. (sector 52)
  7. In the northwest hall past the yellow-barred switch, press the next switch. Open a wall on the west side to get a blur artifact. (sector 96)
  8. Head east of the room with the previous secret, then head to the southeast corner. Open the south wall to get a chainsaw. (sector 54)
