MAP16: Fear of the Dark is the sixteenth map of Nostalgia. It was designed by Alex Decker (myolden) and uses the music track "Forbidden Area" from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, sequenced to MIDI.

Secrets[edit]
- In the chapel with the rocket launcher, go to the piano and press the grayest key. This opens a passage to the northeast leading to a small yard with a BFG9000 and energy cells. (sector 826)
- In the second graveyard, open the north door and lower the wall of bloody skulls to the west. You will find a plasma gun and an energy cell pack. (sector 1204)
