MAP16: Infinity Plus is the sixteenth map of 1994 Tune-up Community Project. It was designed by Andrew Rehberger (Malinku) and James Cresswell (Phobus), and uses the music track "Bloody Tears" from Castlevania: Dracula X, sequenced to MIDI by Jorge D. Fuentes.

Secrets[edit]

  1. The easternmost area of the map has candles on light squares that function as teleporters (although most of them lead to each other). Head to the southeasternmost candle to find a tiny pool of blood on its southeast side. Enter this teleporter from this side to end up in a room in the southwest part of the candles area. Press the switch here and follow the path up to reach a rocket launcher and boxes of rockets. (sector 24)
  2. From secret #1, there are two dropoffs. The north one that glows is actually a teleporter that will take you to a megaarmor in the slime-filled room. (sector 198)
  3. In the area with the "'94 <-> '11" sign on the floor (west of the area with the infinity symbol on the floor), climb the steps and head around. Before the next hall, press the wall with the light on it (it requires the red key) to find a secret passage leading north to boxes of rockets, another rocket launcher, and a switch. (sector 87) Pressing it will reveal the blue key nearby.
  4. In the yellow key area (west part of the map), from the steps at the entrance, slowly walk along the very thin ledge near the north stairs, going north, then east to an opening with a backpack inside. (sector 309)
  5. In the same area as secret #4, climb the stairs up to the yellow key platform, then jump to the opening to the north to reach a soul sphere. (sector 343)
  6. After getting the yellow key, enter the yellow door nearest to the chainsaw (northwest of it) and in the next room, shoot at the north terminal (where the stimpack and ammo clip are). Now head west, through the W-shaped blue-floored room, to the small area east of the yellow key one. You will find a lowered pillar, with a radiation suit on it (on Hurt Me Plenty or higher).   7. If you have the blue key from secret #3, open the blue door north of the exit to find a megasphere (along with some imps on higher skill levels). (sector 468)
  8. This sector lowers along with secret #6 after shooting the aforementioned terminal. However, it is in a dummy sector that cannot be reached without cheating. (sector 496)

Bugs[edit]

Only 87% secrets is possible on this map because secret #8 is not accessible normally.

The south and east sides of the candle teleporter to secret #1 (linedefs 593, 823) block monsters to prevent them from getting into the secret. This candle teleporter is also a teleport destination reachable from any of the other candle teleporters, so if a large monster such as a demon or arachnotron uses one to get teleported here, they will be stuck inside these lines.
