MAP16: Metalocauste is the sixteenth map of 3 heures d'agonie. It was designed by Franck Livolant (franckFRAG) and uses the music track "Breach of Madness," originally composed by Mark Klem for Requiem.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Open the door at the start and notice that the second light in front of you is blinking. Open the wall to the left of the blinking light and go up to get a berserk pack. (sector 8)

Bugs[edit]

A stimpack at the start (thing 138) will snap up to the height of the upper ledge when the door to the secret is opened.

The metal door (sector 55) leading to the northeast outside area has texture pegging that makes the wall appear to melt downwards instead of slide downwards.

When the northeast outside area is entered, the concrete wall (sector 28) lowers. The following things happen:

  • Similarly to the melting metal door, the concrete wall appears to melt instead of slide into the ground.
  • Shotgun shells on the ground lining the inner side of the concrete wall will snap up to the top height of the wall as it lowers, following it down.
  • When the concrete wall has fully lowered, missing textures are revealed (linedefs 104, 103, 102) appearing as flat bleeds.
