MAP17: Fortress of the Damned is the seventeenth map of Number One Kill The Next Generation. It was designed by Angelo Jefferson and uses the music track "".

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.


Other points of interest[edit]


  1. At the second fortress area, get to the corridor at the north side and press on the damaged wall at the south end to find medikits. (sector 332)
  2. In the blue key room, open the south wall to find shotgun shells and a switch. (sector 439)
  3. The switch in Secret #2 opens a compartment north of the blue key room with a megasphere. (sector 443)
  4. Head behind the exit switch, then get on the arrow-shaped platform where the switch is from either the southwest or southeast side. Doing this teleports you to the water beyond the exit switch, where you can head around to get a megaarmor, a box of shotgun shells, a box of ammo, and an energy cell pack. (sector 421)
