This level occupies the map slot MAP17. For other maps which occupy this slot, see Category:MAP17.

MAP17: Hot as Hell is the nineteenth map of Hell To Pay. The discrepancy between map slot and progression number is because the MAP31 and MAP32 are inserted between MAP15 and MAP16 as part of the regular progression, instead of being secret levels.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the room with the yellow skull borders with purple lights on the walls, press the red switch and quickly run through the raised door. Another door has opened in the next area. Run through this to get shotgun shells and a stimpack. (sector 370)
  2. In the room with the green walls, the upper area after descending the stairs counts as a secret. (sector 66)
  3. In the same room, go through the door in the middle of these areas. Use the incline in front of the door to jump to the lower area. This counts as a secret. (sector 65)
  4. Go up the stairs when you reach the lower area. There is a mega armour on top of a crate. There is an incline near the ledge. Use this to strafejump on top of the crate. (sector 393)
