MAP18: Bitter is the eighteenth map of 100LineT. It was designed by Scypek2 and uses the music track "".

Walkthrough[edit]

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Take the backpack and chaingun in front of you, then enter the teleporter in the south-east corner and flip the switch in front of you to drop down to a room with eight chaingunners (they are placed closer to you on higher skill levels). Press all eight buttons around the room to lower the corners and reveal more monsters, including a pain elemental on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare, then take the blue keycard on the north-west side and step on the center tile to teleport back to the starting point, where you can now collect the yellow skull key.

Flip both switches on the block on the west side of the room to open the nearby door, then go through it and head east to a gargoyle switch with a super shotgun on top. Press the switch, then teleport back to the northern area to find that the walls have lowered to reveal a cyberdemon. Kill the monster, then go behind the triangular block in this area and flip the switches here to lower it and get the red skull key; note that the block has high friction, so you will move slowly when standing on it. Return to the starting area and open the red door at the west side, grab the berserk pack (or chainsaw on Hurt Me Plenty or higher) then flip the switch here to lower the floor and reveal a group of demons. Fight them off while you wait for the west wall to lower and reveal a supercharge along with the exit switch.

  1. Head to the south-east corner of the starting area and go through the wall to appear inside the block in the middle of the room. A supercharge is here. (sector 5)
