- The Illuminati Building's speech is, "This pattern is irrefutable proof for ancient machining." in reverse.
- In the comment section under the playthrough of this map on decino's YouTube channel, skillsaw shared the following information about this level:
The out of bounds setup with the monster spawner is to hide "stuck" monsters from the player due to the missing map30 telefrag behavior. Only one monster will activate a teleport line at a time, so the teleport lines effectively "unstuck" monsters as they cross. That said, the monster closets probably jam up eventually but it seems to take long enough to not cause problems.
UV-max rules definitely weren't taken into consideration for this map, which I'm sure has been annoying to many ... If I ever do a map like this again I'll try to use MBF21 dehacked to make the kill counter accurate, or maybe make the fake monsters clear somehow? I know folks like Daerik have done D2All max runs of Ancient Aliens and I have no idea what their strategy was to make this map doable. Anyways, I'm glad your UV-max run worked out, but for me the map is a lot more fun to blaze through like a theme park ride."See also[edit]
