MAP18: Resistance is Futile is the eighteenth map of Invasion II. It was designed by Paul Fleschute (Moe).

Secrets[edit]
- After opening the closet northwest of the start, use the wall to the right of the switch, then head to the northwest room to find a new switch to the north. Use it and head back to the starting area. Open the north door, then head west in the next room to head down to a BFG9000. (sector 298)
- In the large room northeast of the X-shaped hub, head down the steps, then open the northwest wall near the medikit to find a megasphere, soul sphere, or berserk pack depending on your skill level. (sector 436)
- Open the blue door in the X-shaped hub and teleport to a new area. Use the switch at the west end of this area to open the north wall, then go there and climb the steps. At the top, open the west wall to find a chainsaw. (sector 211)
- Head west from the yellow key and up the steps. Open the west wall to find a medikit and a rocket launcher. (sector 696)
- Head southwest and west from the helipad, then use the south wall at the westernmost end for this secret. (sector 698)
- In the southeast area, head to the northeast side and take the lift up. At the top, use the misaligned wall to the left to teleport to a megasphere. (sector 208)
- At the exit door, head southwest and use the wall just before the bend going west. Open the door to get a box of shotgun shells. (sector 205)
