MAP18: Solemn Outpost is the eighteenth map of MAYhem 1500. It was designed by Michael Fraize (Marcaek) and James Collins (an_mutt), and uses the music track from MAP06 of GothicDM 2, composed by Marc Pullen.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Get to the top of the central structure, then go counter-clockwise on this ledge until you get a super shotgun. (sector 6)
  2. Get to the top of the central structure, then go to the south end and use the skull switch you see. Get off on the west side and onto the ice to the ice, then jump one level down and head south to get a soul sphere. (sector 27)
  3. In the center of the map, a megaarmor is on top of a blue pillar. Use the lift near the pillar and go to the east wall. Face north, then shoot the cross switch to lower the megaarmor. (sector 57)
  4. Get to the top of the central structure, then go to the south end and jump southwest to the ice. When you make it, head west to find an energy cell pack. (sector 161)
