MAP18: The Fortress within the Mire is the eighteenth map of Rabbit's All-comers Mapping Project 2022. It was designed by United VirusX and uses a FLAC recording of "AimShootKill" by Tom Mustaine, from TNT: Evilution, as its music track.

Secrets[edit]
- In the north cave, head behind the northwest tree and open a wall to find a switch. This opens a wall in the damaging sludge to the north, which has shotgun shells, a super shotgun, and medikits. (sector 1254)
- After you descend the steps at the northeast end, head behind them on the east side to collect a backpack. (thing 289)
- In the same area, head to the tree on the west side and find the dead marine. Go through the wall there to find a hidden area. The plasma gun at the end is the secret. (thing 960)
- Enter the area with a small bridge over the sludge you can swim in. Dive in and shoot the west wall to find health bonuses and a megaarmor. (thing 281)
- In the winding hall at the southeast end, open the first face you see at the east end to find a soul sphere. (sector 1358)
- In the large room at the south end with the sludge you can swim in, head into the sludge and head to the bars on the west side. Shoot the switch beyond the bars and get the BFG9000 behind the switch. (thing 1097)
- The last four secrets comprise four things that cannot be triggered as secrets. Two of them are tall green firesticks and two are point lights. (thing 1149)
