MAP18: Zilzal is the eighteenth map of Scientist 2. It was designed by Roland van der Velden and uses a MIDI rendition of the Dream Theater song "Strange Deja Vu" as its music track.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Enter the fort past the red key and take the door to the west. Take the next door and head south. When it curves east, press on the gray rock wall to take a lift up to a soul sphere. (sector 48)
  2. Leave the cross-shaped walkways from their eastern side, then get near the steps and get on the metal ridge on the outer wall going south. Hug the wall as you follow this ridge to the south, and when you can, jump on a nearby rock to reach another soul sphere. (sector 28)

Bugs[edit]

A multiplayer-only box of shotgun shells (Thing 75) has no flags set for any of the three difficulty classes, so it does not actually appear in the level.
