MAP19: Ancient Dimensions is the nineteenth map of Community Chest 64. It was designed by Bob9001. This level features a series of large courtyards and libraries surrounding a central room.

Essentials[edit]
You start in a small triangular room. Leave through the door ahead and pick up the chaingun in the right corner, the shotgun in the left corner, as well as the chainsaw on the nearby pedestal. Continue onward to the pool of water. Pick up the backpack behind the pillar, the super shotgun within the pool, and the armor near the two Hell knights. Mind the arachnotron at the end of this area, who is able to shoot at you from a fair distance away. Walk onto the cross-shaped bridge over the pool of water and clear out the monsters in this area. Remember to also press the switch on the bridge before moving on.
When all monsters are dead, head back to the starting room. Press the front side of the cube found within the room to lower it, then ride it up to access a walkway. Follow the walkway to enter a closed-off courtyard. Kill the imps and cacodemons first, then pick up the blue skull key. Doing so will gradually teleport a group of zombiemen and shotgunners into the courtyard; kill them before going through the open gate. Cross the bridge and go left to find a blue switch. Press it to raise the bars in front of the switch, then go up the staircase while killing the imps and shotgunners up ahead. Kill the mancubus found at the end and press the switch to its right, then jump down into a large courtyard.
The courtyard is filled with cacodemons, mancubi, and arachnotrons. The arachnotrons are most dangerous, as they are level with your position, and the large amount of projectiles they fire will be difficult to dodge. Clear out as many of the monsters as you can; when most are dead, or you are low on health, hop across the series of pillars to the right to find a megasphere. Now cross the wooden bridge and enter the structure to the left to find a plasma gun and two Hell knights. Kill them, then press the switch and head back outside. Go straight toward a walled-off section from which a baron of Hell will emerge. Kill it and head inside.
Kill the nightmare imps and Hell knights found on the platforms. Both of these platforms are actually lifts; press on either to lower it, then ride it up onto the platform. Clear out the monsters in this area and then press the switch found behind the armor. Doing so will allow you to pick up the red skull key further into the area. Grab it, then return to the entrance of the walled-off section. Here, a cyberdemon will have appeared. You can safely kill it by using the chaingun or plasma gun to shoot over the wall toward it. You can also leave this area and use the super shotgun, but this is risky, as the cyberdemon will likely block your movement, and you will have to pass by him very closely.
Once the cyberdemon is dead, leave this area and go back across the bridge. Head back up the stairs and through the passage to return to the cross-shaped bridge near the start. Here, head left to find a red switch, and press it to raise the bars in front of it. Head inside to find a library filled with monsters; start clearing them out as you move toward the back of this area. Take note of the two pain elementals that will appear: use the bookcases as cover to deal with them safely. Continue forward, and you will enter an even larger section of the library. Clear out the monsters here as well and look for a platform that holds arachnotrons, barons of Hell, and a Hell knight.
Kill the monsters stuck on the platform; the easiest way to do this is with the plasma gun, making sure you keep a certain distance so the projectiles do not hit the bookcases below instead of the monsters. When they are all dead, check the center of the wall of bookcases for a metal section. You can press this section to briefly lower that part of the wall, letting you ride it up and access the platform that held the monsters. Here, you can pick up the yellow skull key. When you grab it, two alcoves below will open up, revealing barons of Hell and a large group of spectres. You can kill them, but it is far easier to just run past them.
Return to the entrance of this section of the library. At the start, you will find an alcove will have opened up, containing a mancubus and a red switch. Kill the mancubus and press the switch. Now return to the entrance of the library section, back onto the cross-shaped bridge. Here, head left and check the corner of the room ahead to find an entrance will have opened up. Enter it to find yourself in a large outside area filled with monsters, including a large group of barons of Hell and a cyberdemon. Try and get them to start infighting if you can.
Check the right side of this area for a separate room containing more arachnotrons, as well as another cyberdemon. Jump down here and rush toward the end of this area. Look for a red-marked platform that has a Hell knight wandering on top of it: press it, which will open it up and reveal a switch. Press it to open a nearby door and head inside. Follow the passage to the end to find a megasphere and a switch. Press the switch, then head back through the passage. After doing so, a massive number of shotgunners will start to teleport into the small corridors found at the side of the passage. Kill them all, then check the large room to the left to find a switch and press it. Now head into the large room to the right, where a staircase will have been revealed. Go up the steps to find yourself in a large, square courtyard.
Go to the other end of the courtyard, then jump off the bridge ahead. Check the left corner for a giant pit in the ground. Jump into the pit to exit the level.

Secrets[edit]
- Upon starting, turn around and press on the wall to lower it. Enter the teleporter which will take you on top of the crates in the next room, from where you can pick up a supercharge, a megaarmor and three rockets. (sector 65)
- Return to the starting area and use the left platform to go up the trench. Soon you will see an arena containing the blue skull key. Instead of going for it right away, press the left demonic faces on the entrance arch to go up and collect a rocket launcher and four boxes of rockets. (sector 82)
- Press the wall behind the red skull key to unlock a teleporter which will take you on a platform containing two rockets, four boxes of rockets, four energy cell packs, two medikits and a BFG9000. (sector 324)
