MAP19: Escape is the nineteenth map of Epic 2. It was designed by Alexander S. (Eternal) and uses the music track "Helltime (Dark Groove Part 1) theme" from Jazz Jackrabbit 2 by Alexander Brandon, sequenced by KDS. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 3:30.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Open the yellow door and press the switch at the end to release revenants. Enter the south alcove and press on the wall to find a teleporter, which takes you to a chaingun and boxes of ammo. (sector 53)
  2. West of the room with the laser grid, enter the alcove for an imp. Press on the wall in the back to get a backpack. (sector 151)
  3. On the way to the red key, you will reach a brightly lit area to the west with two rooms. Enter the south one and shoot the picture on the wall for a secret passage leading to a soul sphere and energy cells. (sector 360)
  4. When you reach the city, enter the building straight ahead. Take the steps to the right and go out the window very slowly. When you land on a thin piece of ledge, go west to get a berserk pack. (sector 471)
