Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. Head to the east side of the map at the rocks over lava and use the pillar with the beating heart. This lowers a large rock wall to the south, revealing a large cave with ammo, a chainsaw, medikits, and a soul sphere. (sector 273)
  2. At the west side of the cave in Secret #1, lower a wall to the north for boxes of rockets and an invulnerability. (sector 816)
  3. Go towards the south teleporter in Secret #1. When you step onto the rock where the teleporter is, run north as fast as you can and into a new opening which leads to a radiation suit and a megaarmor. (sector 1336)
  4. In the southwest lava pit, go to the west side and find a teleporter buried under the rock wall. Step on the section that is not covered and you will teleport to the water at the north end with arch-viles and a soul sphere. Head southwest, then north to find energy cell packs and a teleporter. (sector 1317)
  5. Take the teleporter out of Secret #4, then drop to the east and use the lightning symbol to the southeast to lower a lift. Ride up while hugging the west wall to get backpacks. (sector 570)
  6. Ride the lift mentioned above all the way up and head east to find a plasma gun and energy cells (not on Ultra-Violence or higher). (sector 571)
  7. On the ledge leading to Secret #6, gently drop to the north and open the wall east of the energy cell pack (or the wall west of the boxes of rockets) to find a soul sphere. (sector 812)
  8. Take the path southwest of the blood pit and up the steps. As you do, a wall to the east lowers, with a pillar containing a beating heart at the east end. Use that pillar to unlock a compartment with armor bonuses. (sector 1272)
  9. Keep heading south from the previous secret and lower a lift containing medikits. Jump southeast as the lift rises and take the teleporter to get armor bonuses, a megaarmor, rockets, and a box of ammo (only on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). (sector 603)
  10. Keep heading south from Secret #9 all the way to the blue keycard. A wall opens up when you get the keycard. Use the west wall there to find energy cells and a megasphere. (sector 540)
  11. Go back to the lift with medikits and take it up. Head east, then find the fire wall that the candle is at and use it. A bit east from there and south is a new room with rockets, medikits, and a megaarmor. (sector 1309)
  12. When you were heading towards Secret #11, another compartment to the east will open up. Enter that compartment and press the button on the south wall, opening another compartment to the north with health bonuses, shotgun shells, stimpacks, and a soul sphere (not on Ultra-Violence or higher). (sector 1332)
  13. Leave Secret #12 and make a running jump northwest to another ledge. Open the north wall and touch the candle to teleport to a soul sphere and an arch-vile. The next two times you teleport will put you in two more rooms with arch-viles and soul spheres, before you teleport onto two ledges that have revenants. (sector 1174)
  14. After taking the final teleporter out of Secret #13, you will be just north of the exit door. Head northwest and another compartment to the north opens. In there, use the northeast wall to find health bonuses, an energy cell, and rockets. (sector 1308)
  15. Head back to where you found Secret #12 and drop to the lava to the north. Head east and use the wall with two candles in front of it to find four radiation suits. (sector 1008)
  16. From the starting point, take the south lift up, then use the wall to the west to get an energy cell pack. (sector 113)
  17. In the yellow keycard chamber, go to the northwest doors and use the lion face to the right of the doors to find a soul sphere. (sector 463)
  18. In the yellow key chamber, head south of where the key is and use the southeast wall which has a small lion face to find an energy cell pack. (sector 790)
  19. Leave the yellow key chamber to the southeast to find a triangular hub. Head south from there to another hall and when the walls open up, take the east path and the teleporter in it. You will teleport onto a ledge southeast of the triangular hub. Go to the northwest edge and drop north, going north to get a plasma gun and armor bonuses. (sector 44)
  20. Use the bloody wall in the southwest corner of Secret #19 to find a teleporter leading to the east side of the starting hall. This has health bonuses and energy cells. (sector 121)
  21. Head south from the northwest courtyard and head east. Use the bloody wall here to open a compartment and take the teleporter within. This takes you to the northwest ledge of the courtyard with energy cell packs (one on Ultra-Violence or higher) and a green armor. (sector 179)
  22. Head south from the northwest courtyard and gently drop south to a smaller ledge. Open the middle wall, which will open another one further east, then take the teleporter inside. (sector 1270)
  23. Take the teleporter in Secret #22 and enter the red area. Use the skull switch to lower the lift back to the teleporter, but enter the area behind it and use the southeast wall. The corridors afterwards have armor bonuses and medikits. (sector 1302)
  24. In Secret #23, lower the north, west, or south walls to find arch-viles, an energy cell pack, and boxes of rockets (not on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). (sector 1304)
  25. Take the teleporter in Secret #22 and enter the red area. Go to the northeast block and use its east side, which opens an area to the west in the caged section. Take the teleporter there to get a backpack. (sector 610)
  26. At the exit door, use the red key switch to the north and the one behind it to open the west wall. Use the south switch to open the west teleporter. Shoot the wall south of the teleporter to open the southeast door. At the end will be a soul sphere. (sector 467)
  27. Head to the east wall going to Secret #26 and open it to find armor bonuses. (sector 1009)
  28. Use the east wall in Secret #27 to get a berserk pack and a light amplification visor. (sector 1330)
  29. Head southwest from Secret #27 and open the wall here to get a box of ammo. (sector 990)
  30. Open the north wall in Secret #29 to get armor bonuses. (sector 1068)
