MAP19: The Empty Box Abyss is the nineteenth map of Down the Drain. It was designed by Benjogami and uses the music track "American Life" by Primus.

There are no official secrets on this map.

Bugs[edit]

Lowering the very large box lift (sector 12) at the exit, while the outermost exit blockade (sector 40) is not yet lowered, and then lowering said blockade, will make the blockade recede further than intended, exposing a hall of mirrors and creating a pit that can softlock the player.

Linedef 0 (the far west wall) is very long, at 7168 map units, and this linedef is included in every tile of the blockmap. Shooting in or opposite to its direction is very likely to cause a distance checking overflow, which can lead to bullets being blocked by thin air or ineffective autoaim.
