Essentials[edit]

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. After the starting room, head east to a room with chaingunners on pillars. Head east, then look south and shoot a switch. Return west and take the lift up to get rockets, shotgun shells, and a soul sphere. The door has a health bonus (not on Ultra-Violence or higher). (sector 4029)
  2. At the southwest end, go to the northeast steps and switch, then face southwest and shoot at the green lights through the cage, which has a hidden button. After shooting it, go west, then southeast into a new opening with an energy cell, a box of rockets, a box of shotgun shells, and a megaarmor. (sector 1576)
  3. In Secret #2, go behind the green light and press the switch. Go out and around, then to the south lift. Ride up, then head to the area where the switch to the southwest was, in a small corridor. Here, you need to look north and ever-so-slightly northeast. Shoot the red button. Leave and return to the bottom of the southwest area and go to the north end. There is a new area with shotgun shells, an energy cell pack, and a berserk pack. (sector 1421)
  4. In the south building northeast of where the yellow keycard is, get on the platform with arch-viles, go to the door, and flip the lever switch to the east. Head east of there, then jump south and press the skull switch. You will get a box of rockets and a soul sphere. (sector 1673)
  5. In the area east of Secret #4, go to the steps and onto the green lights to the west. Shoot the button in the wall, then go southeast and north to get a box of shotgun shells and an energy cell pack (megaarmor on Ultra-Violence or higher). (sector 1926)
  6. At the figure eight area, head to the northeast end, find a switch on the east part of the column. Use it, then head west of the figure eight area and head north to get some ammo. (sector 1950)
  7. After getting the red skull key, press the switch near it and head to the west side of the area. Use the skull switch here and get on it (but not the lift). Face west as it rises and shoot the button. Return to where the red key was and run southwest into a new opening that has shotgun shells, medikits, and a green armor. (sector 1187)
  8. In the center of the south end, lower the southeast lift, ride up, then carefully inch southwest, landing in between where the torch is, the lift, and onto a wall. Inch to the south and flip the switch to the west. Afterwards, head west from here, climb those steps, then go to the south railing. Inch southeast, onto a wall, then inch southwest, falling onto a thin wall below. Head west to get shotgun shells, a box of rockets, and a backpack (megaarmor on Ultra-Violence or higher). (sector 72)
  9. In the northwest building, go to the south entrance and look at the torches. A torch at the northeast end is green. Use that torch from below, then go north and into a small alcove that has a green armor and boxes of rockets. (sector 4100)
  10. Leave the northwest building to the northeast, then jump to the railing to the north. Follow it east and drop north to a lower railing. Follow this east to an energy cell pack and shotgun shells. (sector 2619)
  11. West of the south four-pointed white star at the northeast end are six columns. Behind the northwest column is a switch. Press it and head west and south into a room with energy cells and a health bonus. (sector 2885)
  12. Head north from Secret #11, then to the steps to the east. Notice the door to the west and flip the small lever switch there. This opens the south wall which has boxes of rockets. (sector 2894)
  13. After getting the blue keycard, leave to the south and go under the arch to the south of the door. Return to the lift leading to the door and run east, then north, then east to a soul sphere. (sector 2155)
  14. Go back under the arch mentioned above and jump south to a rooftop. Find the switch here and use it, then climb the steps to the west and enter a room to the northwest with armor bonuses, a soul sphere, ammo clips, and shotgun shells. (sector 1609)
  15. After finishing the secret arena at the northwest end which requires all six keys, head southeast and take the teleporter to get a computer area map. (sector 3825)

Technical information[edit]

Inspiration and development[edit]

This map replaced MAP19 from RC1 after the author wanted their map pulled from versions after it. eater29 was asked to make a map and it was completed in about three weeks and released on April 5 for RC6. The map order was altered to have it be in the MAP20 slot, due to its larger scale and high monster count. The previous MAP20 was placed into MAP19.
