MAP20: Demon Seed is the twentieth map of Vile Flesh. It was designed by Gwyn Williams, who also composed the level's untitled music track, which is also used in MAP10: Beacon.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Go along the cave south of the starting area until you reach the bridges in the middle of the map. A wall at the northeast end of the cave exit can be lowered, allowing you to reach supplies such as a green armor and rockets. (sector 68)
  2. In the room with the square lava pit, the faceted stone tablet at the south end can be shot down, revealing a baron of Hell guarding shotgun shells and a rocket. (sector 335)
  3. After you get the blue key, return to the room in the middle of the map with two switches and use the blue one to open the north door. Take the lift up, then take the bridge to the north. Backtrack to the room before, and to the east is a new room with shotgun guys. The skull at the south end of the room will actually trigger a lift. Use it and quickly run all the way west and south to a depot containing rockets and a medikit. (sector 461)
  4. From the yellow key area, descend the steps until you reach the bottom, then quickly run back to the yellow key area and go to the left side of the southwest column. Press the switch before it rises and you will open a passage to the southeast. Collect the health bonuses as you make your way through the cave. You can open the fence here to reach the outside portion, where you can get more health bonuses, a box of shotgun shells, and a BFG9000. (sector 293)
  5. After you get the red key, go back to the red door south of the hub and use the switch inside. This will lower two walls to the south. Enter the furthest wall and use the west wall there to reveal a new passage leading to health bonuses and a computer area map. (sector 342)
  6. Approaching the computer area map in Secret #5 will trigger a wall to the west. You can lower it by pressing on it, and at the top, a switch will appear. Use it to lower the north wall, along with another one behind it. Inside is a plasma gun, armor bonuses, and an energy cell pack. (sector 366)
