MAP21: Heretic Factor is the twenty-first map of The Abyss. It was designed by J.M.P van Waveren (MrElusive) and Miklos de Rijk (H2SO4), and uses the music track "Mist" by Kevin Schilder, from Heretic.

Secrets[edit]

  1. When you first enter the chapel, turn right towards the next hall. Where the stimpack is, open the wall to get a green armor. (sector 149)
  2. When you first enter the chapel, turn left and go behind the altar. Press on the wall here to find a secret area with a health bonus, stimpacks, rockets, a backpack, a box of ammo, and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 159)
  3. Press the switch in the stained glass room to open the way to the north, then turn left when you can. Follow this path until you find another wall that can be opened. Inside are rockets, ammo clips, a box of ammo, a stimpack, and health bonuses. (sector 210)
  4. At the exit room, press on the orange wall for a teleporter to a room with lost souls, a medikit, an energy cell pack, a box of ammo, and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 294)
