MAP21: Planet Hell is the twenty-third map of Hell To Pay. The discrepancy between map slot and progression number is because the MAP31 and MAP32 are inserted between MAP15 and MAP16 as part of the regular progression, instead of being secret levels.

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. After taking the elevator from the blue door, step into the middle where the archvile was. This counts as a secret. (sector 168)
  2. In the same area as secret #2, there is a rocket launcher on top of a ledge. Strafejump from the third step to get it. (sector 309)
  3. In the same area as secret #2, there is a platform in the damaging blood with imps on it. Press on the southern side to lower it for a rediation suit and a medikit. (sector 240)
  4. Next to the crusher is a mega armor. The area where it was is a secret. (sector 15)
  5. In the room with the pillar with the soulsphere and the switch, strafejump to the north alcove to get a BFG9000. (sector 245)
  6. After entering the yellow door, blow up the barrel and open the wall to the right to get a partial invisibility. (sector 380)
