- In the starting area, grab the super shotgun and kill the imps that spawn. One of the cages that holds shotgunners is actually open: enter it and press on the wall directly in front of the entrance to lower a lift taking you to a balcony where you can find a BFG9000 and a computer area map. (sector 218)
- Leave the starting area and enter the library. Within the library is another red door: to the right of it is a bookcase with a blinking light at the top. Press it to reveal a light amplification visor and two boxes of rockets. (sector 651)
- After leaving the room in secret #2, turn left, then go left around the pillar with the yellow flame. Press the bookcase surrounded by a flame pillar on both sides to reveal an armor. (sector 541)
- After picking up the red red skull key and clearing out the Hell knight ambush, enter either the middle or right alcove and press on the wall, leading to a secret cave in between the two alcoves. Here you can find five rockets and four health bonuses. (sector 632)
- In the southwestern section of the blood-filled halls, near where you found a backpack, press on a misaligned wall located between the two doors on the eastern wall to reveal a berserk powerup. (thing 513)
- In the library is a supercharge sitting on a ledge. Go to the large open room with the nine pillars, and from there enter the wide hallway which contains series of alcoves on both sides. As soon as you enter the hallway the supercharge will briefly lower: rush back quickly to pick it up. (thing 336)
