MAP21: The Gardeners of Eden is the twenty-first map of 1000 Lines 2 - Community Project. It was designed by Brayden Hart (AD_79) and uses the music track "Weightless", also made by Brayden Hart.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Take the chaingun ahead of you and push past an imp and two zombiemen blocking your path, then head down some steps with health bonuses to a grassy area and kill any enemies waiting here. Head north to a dirt patch with a super shotgun, then north-west until you reach some more steps with health bonuses that you can follow down to the red skull key; watch out for two shotgun guys and/or chaingunners hiding on either side, as well as various enemies that are released behind you when you get to the bottom of the steps. With the red key, head back to where you found the super shotgun and open the east door (requiring this key) then press the lift behind it and kill a waiting Hell knight before riding the lift up to the next floor.
Head north onto a catwalk and follow it round past several enemies to a long corridor, which you can follow south to a mancubus standing at the entrance to a cavern. Dispose of any enemies waiting in the cavern, including an arachnotron, then go through the west doorway and kill a knight and two shotgun guys that rise from the floor in front of you before heading forward until you drop into a corpse pit. Grab the megaarmor in the south-west corner (guarded by another arachnotron on Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher) then head north to get back outside where several enemies are waiting, including an arch-vile approaching from the north. Go through the large doorway in the north wall and press a demon switch in front of you, which will lower a lift on your left with a knight/revenant, then ride the lift up and be ready to kill a mancubus and two demons and/or spectres that rise from the floor.
Head down the south-west steps to confront a knight, then follow the red path west and north towards an arachnotron (or two demons on I'm Too Young To Die and Hey Not Too Rough), then turn right to enter a room with a gargoyle switch protected by a knight or pain elemental. Press the switch then go back to the steps you just used and look south-east to see a candle - you can run off this edge to land on a red platform that has risen, before running south to reach a ledge with a plasma gun. Head south up some steps and kill two mancubi waiting on the wall that lowers in front of you, then enter the teleporter behind them to reach a nearby ledge; kill the arachnotron ahead of you in the distance, then step off the pad and kill a mancubus and imps/revenants that are released to your right and left while you wait to a bridge to rise. Cross the bridge and enter the teleporter on the other side to return to the east side of the level, kill a pain elemental blocking your way then head straight forward (west) over another bridge to confront an arachnotron that is guarding the exit switch.
Other points of interest[edit]
After riding the lift behind the red key door, follow the walkway until you reach some steps leading down to a water pool. A plasma gun can be found in the north-west corner of this pool, but watch out for two revenants that teleport behind you as you collect it.
Enter the cavern in the south-east corner of the map, then go into the south tunnel to find a rocket launcher.
Secrets[edit]
- Drop into the damaging blood at the north-west corner of the map, then enter the north-east teleporter to go to a supercharge. (sector 164)
