MAP21: The Room Below is the twenty-first map of Eternal Slumber Party. It was designed by TimeOfDeath and uses the music track "Sign of Evil" by Robert Prince, from Doom. This level was originally released standalone on October 29, 2013, under the title The Floor Below. The title was later changed to "The Room Below" at B.P.R.D's humorous suggestion: "since you know, you can't have rooms below you in vanilla Doom".[1] Despite jokingly asking for a cut of the map’s profits for the name, B.P.R.D did not receive any, as the map was released for free.[2]
This is one of the few TimeOfDeath's levels made for the original Doom and it uses only linedef and sector actions from there and not the ones added in The Ultimate Doom.
