Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

Lower the lift and prepare to fight imps, shotgun guys, and zombiemen in this rectangular hallway. Then head west to a cargo room. Keep heading west watching for enemies behind crates until you find the room with the red key. Acquire it using the lifts, then go back to the rectangular hallway. Your next destination is the south door. In this huge hallway, there are two barricades. One barricade can be opened by progressing through the left-hand door. You will have to wade through nukage to reach the switch which raises it. The right-hand door has a large computer room with platforms that go up and down. A switch is on the western side of the central structure which removes the other barricade. You do not have to open both of them, but you can if you want to. Proceed down the hallway to the room with the yellow key and the super shotgun. Go back to the rectangular hallway, as your next destination is the yellow door on the eastern side. If you are not getting secrets #6 or #7, be careful when going back, as the barricades are now crushers. Past the yellow door, climb the steps and go left past the next door down a hallway until you reach a room where the blue key is located. After grabbing it, you will have to deal with demons going back towards the blue door. Take the teleporter past the door and you will end up surrounded in a marble area with Hell knights and demons as you walk back. Press the switch on the wall to eventually lower the pentagram-faceted walls to the exit.

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. Right after you step off the lowering floor in the beginning, parts of the east and west walls are differently textured than the rest. Press on any of them, and two alcoves will lower, allowing access to five armor bonuses and two rockets. Both of them count as one secret. (sector 5)
  2. At the northwest of the rectangular hall, there is a section of green wall at the east that is differently textured than the others. Open it to find a long tunnel lined with health and armor bonuses. (sector 9)
  3. In the room where you find the red skull, one of the metal panels at the south side has a gargoyle's face on it instead of a lion's. Press it to open a closet in the west, containing six armor bonuses and four rockets. (sector 216)
  4. While inside the southwest computer room, go up the perpetually moving platform at the far west. There, you will find a set of metal panels; one of them has a lightning bolt symbol on it. Press on it to lower a lift, and drop into the hole to find a room with two chaingunners, as well as two doors that both lead to a rocket and eight bonuses (health bonuses in the north, armor bonuses in the south.) (sector 193)
  5. While inside secret #4, press on the middle of the west wall to find four health bonuses, four armor bonuses, and a radiation suit. (sector 202)
  6. In the room where you find the yellow skull, one of the faces on the metal walls is a gargoyle's instead of a lion's. Press it to open up a tunnel leading to three chaingunners, nine armor bonuses, and (if you've activated secret #3) a teleporter. (sector 214)
  7. Enter the teleporter in secret #6 to be taken to a platform in the first hallway, on top of a soul sphere. (sector 18)
  8. At the top of the metal hill beyond the yellow skull door, the southern wall has a skull with glowing, red eyes on it. Open it to find six health bonuses. (sector 218)

Bugs[edit]

The door to the computer room (sector 154) has trigger linedefs on both of its sides without the pass use flag set, making them block attempts to use the door unless the player is closer than normally required.
